Tailoring Classes for SHG Tribal Women


BSVS introduced Tailoring classes for the tribal women under Poverty alleviation and Livelihood project in Jawhar and Mokhada Talukas. More than 100 women enrolled for this programme from various villages of these Talukas. Tailoring machines were purchased and placed in various villages by BSVS. Identified tailoring instructors within the village and started the programme. Duration of the course would be three months. Trainees will be provided certificates after the successful completion of their training. Two units of tailoring classes were inaugurated in Kodala and Jhap villages on March 12, 2015 by Fr. Anaclete D’Mello, Director of BSVS in the presence of village Sarpanches and Police Pattils.
